Legal Division Information
The Legal Division of the Medina County Clerk of Courts is responsible for keeping the record of the Court of Common Pleas in the Civil Division and Criminal Division, as well as for keeping the record of the Domestic Relations Division and the Ninth District Court of Appeals Division for appeals which originate in Medina County. The Legal Division is tasked with filing, docketing, and storing the record for all cases filed in the above divisions. The case types filed within the Legal Division include but are not limited to the following: criminal felonies, foreclosures, judgment liens, divorces and dissolutions, paternity matters, domestic violence complaints, and notices of appeal. Additionally, if it is applicable to a case within one of the above divisions, the Legal Division accepts payment for court costs, restitution, and bond payments.
